Pre-conference Satellite Event: Open resources for cell types and taxonomies with the Allen Brain Map

Join us at this free workshop on Saturday, November 11, 7:00-10:00am, to learn about current research in brain cell types from the Allen Institute for Brain Science, the latest open data and tool releases, and how to incorporate Allen Institute open science resources into your research. Pre-registration is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome.

On Saturday, November 11, learn about new AAV tools for targeting neuronal cell types in a nanosymposium with Dr. Bosiljka Tasic, Director of Molecular Genetics, followed by an exploration of the neural correlates of consciousnes in a symposium with Dr. Christof Koch, Meritorious Investigator.
